Overview

Tucked away in 26 scenic acres of the stunning Tallebudgera Valley, our fully self contained hideaway is tailor made for a romantic get away for two two or up to six if you are wanting to share a weekend away with friends, and will feel like your own private country house. Three luxury suites come with double spas, canopied beds, crisp linens, fluffy bath robes and log fires for those chilly nights. You have sole use of the chalet and your choice of room to stay in.

There's a touch of Old England in the Wentworth Suite with its four-poster bed, Shand Kydd wallpaper and antiques. The Adelaide Suite mixes Victorian and Provincial styles and comes complete with sheepskin rug by the fire, whilst the Winton Suite is pure rustic Australiana. Slumber beneath a muslin canopy net in a bush bed made from wood felled on the estate and admire the Aussie curios lining the walls.

Outside your decadent private quarters you can curl up on sprawling leather Chesterfields, have a glass or three by the fire or maybe at the open bar, set in to the kitchen which has been fitted to satisfy the fussiest cook or you can watch a DVD in front of the giant three metre screen.

Downstairs you can enjoy a game of Billiards or Darts in the games room or bask in the winter sun, pool side with a book from the extensive library or for the more adventurous, explore the grounds, the running stream complete with rock pools or enjoy a bar-b-que in the rock gazebo. For those really looking to spoil themselves and totally indulge in relaxation and the ambience of the cottage, why not book in for a pampering session we can arrange for a therapist to attend the cottage for your sheer indulgence Please note that a minimum of 5 days notice is required for pampering packages.

Succulent individual meals or full weekend meat packs are available for purchase and will be delivered to the cottage on the day of your of arrival. So close to the beach and yet so removed from the city, Bauhinia Cottage is a 10 to 20 minute drive from a wide selection of intimate restaurants.

Explore the property, cool off in our rock pools and enjoy a picnic or barbeque in the stone gazebo down by the creek.

Enjoy a game of billiards or darts in your games room by the pool.

When night falls choose a DVD from our library and experience a movie on the three metre screen, in surround sound. The theatrette is also a favourite spot for that vital football final, horse race or glitzy Hollywood awards programme!

Tallebudgera Valley has 3 golf courses, a driving range, an excellent horse riding facility and some of the most beautiful rural scenery in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

Sunday beach markets, winery tours, national parks, fishing and crabbing are just a few of the activities the local area has to offer. Gold Coast theme parks and major attractions are all within a 30-minute drive of the Valley.
